Healing From Your Own Blood in St. Petersburg, Florida

LPRF bone grafting in
St. Petersburg, FL.

LPRF is a scaffold made from your own blood, drawn and spun during your visit. Dr. Litano uses it for extractions, implants and sinus lifts in St. Petersburg.

Why LPRF

Why we use LPRF for bone grafting.

LPRF starts as a chairside blood draw, goes wherever surgery happens, and joins ozone disinfection in our protocol.

  • Centrifuge used to prepare LPRF from a patient's own blood

    Drawn chairside

A small draw at the start of surgery becomes the healing layer at the end of it.

    • Your own blood, same visit
    • Spun into fibrin chairside
    • No foreign material rejection question
    • Part of the protocol standard
    Swiss BioHealth Protocol
  • Sterile dental instrument tray ready for treatment

    Everywhere surgery happens

LPRF comes along with every surgical service at the practice.

    • Extraction sockets
    • Cavitation cleanouts
    • Implant placements
    • Sinus lift support
    Holistic extractions
  • A medical ozone generator used for dental disinfection

    Paired with ozone

Disinfection and healing support land on the site together.

    • Ozone before placement
    • Antibiotic-free in most cases
    • Healing tracked on imaging
    • Ready for implants per plan

LPRF vs Off-The-Shelf

LPRF versus synthetic-only grafting.

Synthetic grafting material is made in a factory and provides a standard volume scaffold. LPRF is spun on site from a fresh blood draw and serves as a biological scaffold. Here is how the two compare.

The Process

How we plan an LPRF case.

Every LPRF case follows a clear order: a written plan, a same-visit blood draw, placement at the surgical site, and healing checked with imaging.

  1. Plan first

The CBCT scan sets where grafting is needed and the written plan sequences it.

  2. Chairside draw

A small blood draw at the visit start gets spun into platelet-rich fibrin.

  3. Placement

After ozone disinfection, LPRF goes into the socket, cavitation site, or implant site.

  4. Tracked healing

Imaging follows bone response, and the next phase schedules per the plan.
